Thomas the Train Recall

In case you haven’t heard, they have recalled a bunch of the most common Thomas the Train wooden train pieces because of lead based paint.

You can check out the article detailing the Thomas the Train recall, and see photos of the recalled Thomas the Train pieces.

Buddy has several of the pieces shown. I have to go and look at the underside of them to see what code they have on them. The website says:

NOTE: If the code marked on the bottom of your product (or the inside of the battery door) contains a “WJ” or “AZ”, then that product is NOT included in this recall.

Hopefully we haven’t been harboring lead based paint in the house. . . . we shall see.

Thanks. My little nephew, who turns 2 next month, is really into Thomas. I’ll tell his mom and dad to watch for those products!
