Monday was too busy to even think of posting. In the morning we had our town’s parade and Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery. Yankee Bill wore his uniform and drove one of the older vets (WWII!!) in his antique convertible, then stood in the formation for the ceremony. I didn’t march this year due… Keep Reading
This is just such a good tip that I have to post it annually! I am still using these same whiskey barrel planters, 3 years later. I’ve just added a bit more soil every year and some fertilizer. Here is the article, originally posted in June of 2006 ************************************************ Garden season has officially hit upstate… Keep Reading
This is my absolute favorite wedding picture. Yankee Bill and I have been married 9 years, as I mentioned yesterday! Princess has been taking dance lessons this year. Although our prices are much more reasonable here than in a metro area (gasp), it still has not been an inexpensive process. There are the monthly lesson costs, the class gear (taps, ballet shoes, leotards etc), costumes and recital gear. Don’t get me started on the fact… Keep Reading
It’s Monday again! Last week’s menu went well until we hit the weekend. Then it all sort of fell apart. Saturday Yankee Bill had a meeting, so the kiddos and I just ate leftovers (of which their were plenty) an then yesterday my lovely MIL called to ask if we wanted to come to her… Keep Reading
