Now that I’ve reviewed the EA Sports Active I get to do the fun part-GIVE ONE AWAY!!
Now remember, this is just the game (which includes the disk, leg strap & exercise band). You must already have a Wii in order to play it. If you already have a Wii Fit you have the option to use the balance board but it is not required.
This contest runs from June 25th to Midnight EST July 1st.
The winner will be chosen from the eligible entries using the random number generator and posted on July 2nd.
So how do you enter to win? Easy! You have SIX, count ‘em SIX chances to enter. Of course the more entries, the better your chances of winning.
#1-Leave a comment with what feature of the EA Sports Active interests you the most (reading the review would help there!)
#2-Subscribe to Frugal Upstate and leave a comment (or leave a comment saying you already do)
#3-Subscribe to She Is Losing It -the new group blog I belong to that is documenting my EASports Active use and general attempts to live a healthier lifestyle. Come back here and leave a comment.

Put it on facebook as well–my account is private, but I have a ton of friends who will see it!
I love the fact that it’s like having a personal trainer and if you are doing something wrong, it will correct you.

I’m interested in the variety of exercise/games to keep me from getting bored (my problem, too!).

I love the fact that it has virtual personal trainer
My daughter has a Wii. I like the idea of getting a workout while having some fun. I also like that it can be used at home, eliminating the need to join a fitness club.

I re-tweeted your giveaway w/your budurl, as requested. Please enter me to win this! Woo-hoo!
I read your review of EA Sports Active and what I like the most is being able to go at your own pace at home (vs. gym or “Y”), the diversity of the games/exercises and how they tell you if you are doing the moves properly. I love the Wii system and play w/my son and online w/others so I think this might be a good fit for me to once again, BE fit! Thanks for the opportunity to win this, Jenn!
I subscribe to your blog, Frugal Upstate, via, email updates.
I like that it tells you how many calories you have burned.

I would enjoy the lack of repitition. I also enjoy working with resistance bands.
I get e-mail updates of your “She is Losing it Blog”.
The fun aspect is appealing with the goal to loose weight.

I LOVE that it accurately tracks not only upper body but also lower body movement via the nunchuck! And my husband says he would play along with the cooperative mode, which is a miracle because he does NOT exercise!!
just posted this to my facebook account… i am hoping i win this since i think it will motivate me to get back in shape and lose the 25 or so pounds i gained while i was pregnant! Thanks! and I love your blog…. i get lots of great ideas even if this is the first time i have posted a comment! I know there are many women (and men) here who want this prize and i know that my chances are slim but i still hope i win!
I bought the Wii last Christmas for my 3 kids and we all just love the interactiveness (is that really a word?). Anyway, I love the idea of the Sports Active as a way to get started working out without having to feel selfconscious at the gym. After three kids I certainly need it.
I like that the “trainer” will tell me if I’m doing the exercise wrong! Nothing worse than exercising worthlessly.
Just tweeted about it!
Would love to have this. The feature I’ll like the most is the interactive trainer. In your review you also mention the ability to track how we do exercises such as squats. That sounds like a step up from the Wii Fit. The Wii fit is one my wife and I already enjoy.
Please consider this one of my entries. Rock on!

I did go and look over the reviews and I think I like the resistance band portion of the training. I have a Wii Fit and sometimes the excercises just need a little more oomph.
Oh, and I went over and suscribed to She is Losing It! I, too, have been on a weight loss journey and, Man, if I could go back in time and tell me not to gain weight. Tomorrow, I start training with a group for a half marathon. The EA Sports sounds way more fun.
i like that you can set goals

I really want to see how many calories each exercise burns for me. That would be awesome!

I have just moved the Wii to the living room hoping to encourage more play on this gaming system rather than the Playstation (I have 3 boys who love to play the war games!) They encouraged me to try the Wii Sports and calculate my fitness age. I was not happy!! I would love to win this to use on the Wii and hopefully lower my fitness age to MUCH closer to my real age! 70 indeed!!
I really think the sports aspect will be fun. The volleyball game seems fun!!
I like that you can go at your own pace and also if you aren’t doing it right it will correct you.

I like that this game uses actual resistance bands, which are great for toning and conditioning – particularly for young people who aren’t ready for free weights just yet. I’d love to win this so the whole family can become more active! Thanks for the opportunity!
We JUST finally bought a Wii and my husband surprised the family but neglected to buy me this!! Anyway, I love the idea that every 2 minutes the workout changes- that is the solution to boredom.
I just subscribed to my google reader (it’s under a different email which I used in this comment)
Just tweeted too! http://twitter.com/twincident/status/2366309223
I really want to check out the 30 Day Challenge feature on this game. It sounds so motivating and I need that!
