It is the only store that carries The 40 lb bag of indoor Meow Mix that my cats will eat. (Picky Eaters)It is always empty except at Christmas. They still have layaway. They do have good deals from time to time. I go there about once a month, for the catfood and i will wonder around. If you need curtains it is a really good place. They do have an extensive collection. Otherwise I stear clear of there. It does have a Dollar Tree adjacent to it and a couple of other stores. In Az they have a Super Kmart that was really nice. Alas in my town you pretty much need to be armed to go to the Kmart. It's one of, if not the, nastiest store in town. I didn't know Binghamton had another store other than Kmart until last Christmas. As we were driving up from South Carolina, and we were experiencing snow (kids more of an experience, where as I was experiencing driving in it for the first time in about 20+ years), we went down the "Parkway" to the other box mart store. Oh my word......I hadn't been down the "Parkway" in a number of years. I was so unprepared for that experience, and in snow, and flurries and at Christmas, on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON. Yes I was crazy......and no we didn't find the snow pants the boys needed......PRICELESS MEMORIES. :-) I know exactly where the Kmart is…and you are right, it’s off the beaten path.
