Today!
The roads here in town aren’t so bad, but the country roads are pretty nasty. But instead of a Christmas shopping day with my girlfriend (hmmm, missing that may save me some money) the kiddos and I are going to just hang out for the day.
We may try making some gingerbread cookies this afternoon. I’ve never made them before, but this recipe from Recipezaar looks good, and is billed as not having to be refrigerated, and being easy to work with: Gingerbread (for cookies or a gingerbread house). An added benefit is I have all the ingredients on hand. Yeah for a stocked pantry!
If it comes out well we may be able to use it for our annual family gingerbread decorating “contest”.
