Welcome to the final week of the Frugal Food Series-the series where we have all been helping each other stretch our food budgets with tasty, family approved recipes. With your help, I’ve compiled great frugal recipes from around the web on Egg, Tuna, Bean Ground Meat, Chicken and Starches (Breads, Potatoes, Pasta and Rice).

This week I invite you all to post recipes on everything else! Great appetizers, breakfast foods, potluck favorites, classy company meals, delicious deserts. . . whatever wonderful and inexpensive tricks you have up your sleeve for feeding your family and friends on a budget that haven’t been covered in the previous 6 weeks.

Just post a recipe on your site, and link to it in the Mr. Linky below (with the name of the recipe in parenthesis). If you don’t have a blog, feel free to put your recipe in the comments section or email it to me.

I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I just have to say how much I have enjoyed this whole series. It has been so much fun to see how other people use these cheap ingredients. I’ve gotten lots of great ideas and recipes and found some new great blogs.

Thanks Jenn!

This has been great! I hope we’ll get plenty of recipes on using that “free food” you talked about. Our church has a harvest table where we all exchange extra produce. It is great because everyone takes some. Those that have and those that have not, so no one feels like they are taking charity.

I am so glad that everyone has found this series so useful. Maybe I’ll get ambitious this winter and somehow put all the recipes together into a cookbook of some sort. . .
