Bentonville Visit Update

First things first:

We might actually get to go to a private meet and greet with HARRISON FORD on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, got that off my chest.

Yesterday was busy with lots of interesting visits and events, and today promises to be more of the same. I’ve spent a lot of time filming and learning-I won’t be able to properly process it and write it up until I have a bit more time. Here are the highlights:

Participated in the Online Moneysaving Chat-full text available now.

Met with the editors of All*You magazine and gave them tips on blogging and using Twitter. We actually strong armed them (as a group) into signing up on twitter before they physically left our presence (yeah-the 11 moms are a powerful force en masse).

Met five lovely ladies from the Communispace Moms. This is a group that provides feedback to Walmart on a variety of issues.

Attended a great dinner hosted by Campbelss (no it wasn’t soup) and met Chef Chris Lee (who is just a fun and funny guy-look for him in Swanson Broth commercials soon!) and watched him prepare a turkey dinner for us. Yes-the famous “Green Bean Casserole” was on the menu-of course! We all were able to film Chef Lee’s demonstration-I’ve got just over a half hour of our own, private 11Moms cooking show, including an individual exclusive interview I was able to conduct afterwards.

And lastly, met too many really nice and cool folks to name right here. I’ve just been blown away by how excited and interested everyone is to meet us. Admittedly, the sometimes get a bit overwhelmed when we get going. You get a bunch of smart, savvy bloggers in a room and ask us our opinion on things and we are going to give it to you!

More later, gotta jet downstairs-Kellogs is throwing us a special breakfast. Somehow I think it will be more than just CornFlakes!
