The premier episode of Frugal Coast2Coast was broadcast live on Monday night

I have to admit, I was a little bit nervous about doing the show. I mean sure, I’ve done theatre, public speaking and even military briefings. Anyone who has ever met me in person can tell you, I have the ability to speak a blue streak on just about anything! But this was new, this was different, and most importantly this was being recorded and would be available for download forever! ((eeep!!))

But I calmed myself down, after all, Lynnae from Being Frugal.net is my co-host, and she is a fantastic blogger, frugalite and friend. I was not going to be on there alone, and we had a team of fabulous support folks-including Demos and Nikki-who we could contact via IM during the show if we had any major problems.

And you know what? We had a great time! Live radio is so much fun. Seriously-after one show I think I am addicted. We got to discuss frugal topics together, hear (actually hear, not just type) from some folks, and we also got to take part in and listen to the discussion in the chat room at the same time!

To cap it all off, at the end of the show we had a surprise celebrity call in guest! The Flylady called in, told us she enjoyed the show, and congratulated us!

Yes, you read that right. THE FLYLADY. Who wrote the books, has the website, has her radio show and has, as a matter of fact, an entire radio network of her own on BTR. . . You know, the lady who has 511,000 members in her network?

You had to just about pick Lynnae and I up off the floor.
