Right now there are tons of items on Rollback in the Walmart Kids Event! I was asked to head out to Walmart and update something for my kids to show you guys some of the great selection.
If you have little ones, then you really don’t want to miss this–there are tons of great character items for Frozen, the Minions, Spiderman, Hello Kitty, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more:
My kiddos are getting a bit old for that. They are teens and preteens now, all that character stuff is just SOOOO out! They both have recently gotten new bedspreads for Christmas (thank you Auntie!) and both have room darkening curtains that we bought from Walmart when we redid their rooms several years ago. So I chose to do a bathroom makeover.
The kids share a bathroom. I had used a vaguely nautical theme when I put up the shower curtain and such. There is nothing wrong with it, but there also isn’t anything particularly right about it either. I decided what we needed was a pop of teen friendly color.
In the bathroom decor area I found this photorealistic Beach Shower Curtain. Perfect! Bright, colorful, but not “kiddie”. Plus it’s a welcome sight when we’ve got 2 feet of snow on the ground and sub-freezing weather.
I added Mainstays towels in royal blue and mint green, picking up the colors from the sky and trees, and a royal blue bath mat. For inside the tub I picked up a new liner, a bubble mat for inside the tub and a couple of accessories.
Viola! What do you think of the change? Of course the fold marks will fall out of the PVC curtain once the room gets all steamy from a good hot shower. The kids really like the change.
