Well the response to my suggestion of a “Frugal Food Month” was pretty good! So I say let’s go for it.
We’ll take the month of June and give each week a specific food as follows:
June 1-7: Tuna
June 8-14: Eggs
June 15-21: Beans/Legumes
June 22-28: Other
Each week I’ll write a post on that specific food-discussing how it can help stretch the budget along with some ideas on how to use it, recipes etc. Then anyone else who feels like playing along can write an post and I’ll provide a Mr. Linky. That should give us a nice compilation of ideas and recipes to help us all stretch out our budget this summer.

I am escited about the topic Tuna because I have a lot of cans in my pantry that I purchased last year for pennies and have not been smart about using them. So count on me. I can share the ONE recipe I have using tuna š

Thanks so much!! The people in our area are going nuts. There are food shortages here in California, more homeless people and not enough food on the tables. Crime is up. Gas is to go up to $7.00 soon. That will be plain nuts!!
