So where am I?

Every once in a while we all need a break.  I have reached that point.

I love Frugal Upstate, and I love blogging, but the last year has been extremely busy and everything-personal and professional-just sort of crested over me like the stormy ocean pictured above.  I felt, for a few days, completely overwhelmed.

And I realized-I don’t have to!  I decided that the best thing to do was to take a break. Just consider the rest of April to be an official blogging, tweeting & Facebook break.  Detach from the keyboard and get outside.  Do those projects around the house that had been languishing, and make more time to concentrate on my husband, my kids and yes, even myself for a little bit.

Now don’t worry, this is just a break, not an ending.  I fully plan to be back “bright eyed and bushy tailed” on May 3rd with renewed vigor and focus.

This also isn’t a desperate attention getting plea where what I really hope is that everyone will pop into the comments and stroke my ego, telling me I’m wonderful and that you all can’t live without me (as if!).

Just consider it a little vacation on my part!

So have a great month.  Shop the sales. Cook from scratch.  Check out the yard sales (but don’t spend a lot on things you really don’t need).  Watch the new Walmart “Family Moments” movie~”Secret of the Mountain” this Friday on NBC for a fun free movie night.

You know~keep on being Frugal!  And I’ll see you all soon.
