Just as I decided to repost some of my previous articles I had written on Christmas Traditions, I run across an article over at 4 Reluctant Entertainers about traditions weighing you down.
Very interesting. What do you think?

I love that post about traditions.
Every year my sisters and I received new pajamas for Christmas Eve and I’ve continued that tradition for my kids. The thing is, this year they don’t *need* pajamas and I’ve been dithering about spending the money on something that won’t be joy (to them) or which isn’t necessary. Spending money for the sake of spending money, just because (say it together now) “we’ve always done it this way”.
No way. No pajamas this year. Maybe I’ll buy fabric to make Easter pajamas instead! By then surely they’ll have grown out of some of what they have, right?
