Although it hasn’t been posted as of 8:30 am Eastern Standard Time, the Festival of Frugality this week will be held over at Nature Moms.
So don’t say I haven’t given you anything to read while I’m totally engrossed in the new house 
Oh, and there was an interesting “Devils Advocate” post over at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity on buying more house than you need. I thought Jim had some very interesting points, considering the flak I caught from an anonymous reader on our new house purchase.

You may want to get some neat Martha Stewart curtains at K-mart to updo your look in the house. They usually have good prices or sales too. She loves to do the stuff you are doing. Target too has designer quality stuff at reduced prices. I love to watch people do what you are doing. Good luck. We all miss you Annette. You are saving a bundle with the fruits of your labor.
I have been reading your blog for a few days, and just read the anonymous comment and your response.
Excellent response. I am astounded how many hide behind an anonymous moniker, and then toss out insults, etc.
I am a frugal person. I have been for years. My husband had a major car accident and we are now living well beneath where we used to. The frugal lifestyle has surly paid off. But I still am able to purchase things that we desire, due to the frugalness in other ares.
