Get Rich Slowly has an article with great advice on saving money and buying organic produce. As I’ve stated several times recently, I have become very interested in Organics, however the price tag worries me. Since my desire to be frugal wars with my desire to be organic (an especially difficult thing to justify fully because although there are lots of things pointing to the fact that organic is PROBABLY healthier etc, it is not totally proven) I am doing a lot of research to decide what it best for my family. I had run across the same research she refers to about which veggies are the most and least contaminated by pesticides, and have already started using that information in my own shopping, as well as in my planning for what veggies deserve garden space next year!
Amy at Mom’s Advice has a recipe for IHOP’s pumpkin pancakes and other restaurant meals. I just LOVE pumpkin and will be making these this weekend! We’ll see if the kiddos will try them. The Red Lobster Biscuits are good too-I’ve made a similar recipe before. The problem is I want to eat the entire pan. . . .
