Just a note on handling free samples. Everyone has their own way of dealing with these things. I find that I forget that I have them if I don’t put them where they will be used.
So the electrosol tablet will get used on the very next load of dishes after I get it. The shampoos etc will either go in my “guest room” basket in case a guest needs some shampoo, or else I will squeeze it right into my shampoo bottle (otherwise I never think to use the little packet of shampoo).
I read on this thread at Frugal Living that some folks save them to use for traveling, give them to homeless shelters, or save them to send in care packages to kids in the family or college students.
