And here’s her tip:
I’m rehabing a denim jacket that had gotten frayed at the cuffs and collar. I’ve removed the cuffs and collar and am using them as patterns to cut out pieces from vintage fabric scraps I had on hand. When it’s done, I’ll have a unique shabby chic jacket with a lot more wear left in it and I’ll have saved myself at least $30 (what it would have cost to replace the jacket).
Keep an eye out for the rest of this week for some more of the tips that were sent in. Please do keep in mind-I am on vacation through the 8th, so my posting schedule may be slightly more irregular than usual.
