I made the gingerbread cookies with the kiddos Friday-they came out well! I’ll post on that, with pictures, once I get the camera out of the car!

What about a gingerbread house kit?? Do you think those are too pricey?? Annette
I used this recipe for cookies-we usually spend about $8 on gingerbread house kits. However we always add extra candy, crackers etc to decorate it. This usually runs the price up quite a bit, making it fun, but not necessarily frugal the way we do it
Last year however I did vacuum seal the left over candy so we can use it this year. . . (we don’t usually eat the houses)
