I cut up some of hubby’s old worn out t-shirts that we use for rags and for spills. It has saved so many paper towels!

Great idea… just be sure to verify that they are officially cuttable tees, so it doesn’t lead to domestic strife. (“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CUT UP MY ‘THREE DOG NIGHT’ CONCERT SHIRT!!!”) =) I too have found that old tees offer great insurance for the budget, by cutting down on paper towels and the like.
