Great article! Would love more information on using olive oil in hair--how much? After shampoo or before? I, too, have frizzy, very curly natural hair that I color--that also contributes to dryness. I could deep condition with every shampoo and still have to use defrizzant when styling.

I make a milk bath mix that people swear by--and it's unscented, which is nice for people who have problems with scents. Here's the simple recipe: equal parts dry milk powder, baking soda and salt.

I'd also like to know more about what equipment you use for a home pedicure. I try to make it to the salon once at the beginning of the summer season, then keep it up the rest of the year around, using my callus remover (not easy to use), pumice/foot file and foot soaks with baby-oil-spiked hot water in a dollar store dishpan. Your vinegar idea sounds much better, since my feet are pretty dry as well. Painting my own toenails (and fingernails), however, is not an option--I just. can't. do it. It always ALWAYS looks horrible.
