Basically I buy it at my Mennonite bulk food store, and it is a dollar something a lb-but it is very light, plus it puffs up to 2X it’s size when reconsitituted, so 1 lb is a lot more volume wise than a lb of beef, plus that 1lb of TVP will double in volume. . .

You can check your local bulk or health food stores for TVP, or buy it online.
