How about a Frugal Food Month?

by Jenn @ Frugal Upstate on May 14, 2008

In case you’ve been living under a rock somewhere, prices on food in the US have been skyrocketing. (I’m sure that some of my international readers can tell their own stories as well!)

I was thinking that in June it might be a good idea to highlight a different inexpensive food each week (for example canned tunafish, eggs, beans, etc) and then encourage all my readers who have blogs to post articles on their own blog that week with tips, tricks and recipes for using that food. Then at the end of the week (Saturday? Friday?) I could do my own article with ideas, and then put a Mr. Linky at the bottom so everyone else could link in. This would give us a nice compilation of articles as a resource.

What do you all think?
