This week I’m encouraging everyone to work on their templates. I’ll post later this afternoon or early this evening with a bunch of free blog template sites I’ve found. (well, you didn’t think I was going to PAY for anything, did you?)
NOTE: I am using the new “add it anywhere” Mr. Linky that you see below. The plus is you don’t have to mess around with HTML, you just cut and paste the code and viola! there it is. The minus is that you can’t see all the other folks who have already linked in unless you click on “You’re next”. So-for those of you who just want to browse around and see who is playing but who don’t want to join in, just hit the “Mr. Linky~~You’re Next” below. You don’t have to actually provide a link yourself, but you will see the names of all the folks who have linked. And thanks to Jess and Rebecca for being my intrepid first linkers!!

This makes me nervous- I’ve thought about having my blog evaluated before, but I’m not sure it’s ready for a critical eye. Hopefully your tips will help me snazz up my blog.

No, I didn’t think you’d pay for anything, which is what motivates me to participate.
I’ll be back. Still working on getting my screenshot. My everyday computer (the stone-age one with the Me operating system) can’t convert a bitmap to a jpeg. I still need to try it with the laptop (which came pre-loaded with Vista and a bunch of other stuff, not so easy to find my way around in).
Jess-Well now, I’m hoping we won’t be “critical”
This is all in good fun of course–I was hoping that it would go without saying that it would be a “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all” sort of thing. At the end I just planned on setting up a poll for folks to vote for who they thought was the most improved. So you won’t have to actually have critique comments or anything. . . .The screenshot is just so they can see the improvement.
Rebecca-I’m sure you’ll figure it out! I have faith in you.
Well, I was about a week early… in March I just got sick of looking at “Rounders.” I tried everything to make it interesting. When I finally had had enough trying to get the map background to fit (but it wouldn’t) I searched the web for templates and took the Leap.
I really like my new look. I hope others do, too. Learning html has been an adventure, to say the least. I blogged about my remodeling project here:

Well, I just started this new blog… I started it from scratch using a template, and worked and worked for the past 2 days. There’s still a ton to do tho! I got my template from Free Blogger Skins (this one: http://freeskins.blogspot.com/2007/01/beta-3-column-basic-blue.html) and have worked to make it look like what it is now.
This Beta Blue template is SOOOO versatile! It looks very much like the one you are using, Jenn? Same 3 columns and everything.

Well, I’ve signed up……I am hopeless at this sort of stuff and usually just use whatever I’m provided with, but yearn to know more and make my blog look better. Am looking forward to the challenge – because believe me, I will find it a challenge – LOL!!!
