Looking Ahead. . .

I’ve got a few plans for the blog this spring/summer that I wanted to clue you all into.

April will be the second annual “Amateur Improve Your Blog Month”. Last year’s was fun!-Check out the round up for it in the “Improve Your Blog Month Poll” where I posted links to everyone who participated and folks voted on who was the most improved. If there are any bloggers (or even readers without a blog) out there who would like to write a guest post that would tie in with Improve your Blog Month, please let me know*.

May I want to do a “Frugal Wedding Month”. Obviously I will post on other topics, but I will be reviewing green blogger Leah Ingrahm’s book “Tie The Knot on a Shoestring” (which she kindly donated to me) and giving some tips and tricks not only from my own wedding (uh, in 1999) but also culling the best ideas I can find on the internet and blogosphere. Again, if you are interested in guest blogging please let me know*. The month will culminate in a giveaway of said book.

Once summertime hits and the kiddos are home from school, I will go to a 3 day a week posting format, as I have for the last couple of years. However this year I am going to try to add a once a week post to the new blog I have been trying to start-Jenn Upstate. As I have mentioned before, that will be a place for me to talk about everything in my life and interests that does not fall under the topic of frugality.
