NORAD tracks Santa-Free Christmas Fun

by Jenn @ Frugal Upstate on December 24, 2007

NORAD (North American Aerospace Command) has a special website up for today where you can see the satellite tracking of Santa’s journey around the world. The site states that NORAD has been tracking Santa’s flight for 50 years!

The site updates every 5 minutes, has little “satellite videos” of some of his stops (computer animated graphics), and even has a toll free US and Foreign phone number you can call to speak to NORAD. It is available in many different languages! They also have a neat “about Santa” page, “Is he real”, and pages on how and why they track him.

Princess and Buddy loved seeing where Santa is and how far it is from our house.

This is a milestone year for us. I have a feeling 10yr old son will watch the norad for the last time this year. I have had to be very creative when it comes to his questions about Santa this year.
