I’ve been wanting to try this frugal Christmas decorating idea for years, and finally got around to it yesterday.
Wrapping my artwork! For a little over 6 dollars ($5 of nice wrapping paper and $1 of bows) I went from this:

The Egyptian prints aren't very Christmasy.

In the front room there are a couple of large framed prints as well.
To this:

Doesn't that look better? More thematic?

Pretty!

I wrapped my cabinet doors in the kitchen to look like presents this year, but I never thought to do that to my pictures! Great idea!
What a clever idea!
I’m preoccupied with preparing for the mid-Atlantic blizzard so have no decorating ideas to add.
Haha yeah I know some people do this with their front doors… I may have to try this. Well okay maybe not this year, but probably next. I don’t feel like buying more wrapping paper.
However I do have some card stock I’ve been using for DIY crafts I’ve found online. (paper village, trees, etc) And I plan on turning old cards into a wreath.
Great ideas, as always. When we had photos in the hallway I used to wrap them all as gifts during the holidays.
