Well, we sold the other house!
Of course we haven’t closed yet or anything, but we are under contract without ever listing the house with a realtor. That’s 6% less out of our pocket, so we were able to make a good deal for the folks who are buying it.
The buyers is the son of one of our best friends, who live less than a 1/4 of a mile from that house.. . . Let me tell you, they are happy to have the family moving in right down the street where they can see the grandkids all the time!
So it is working out for the best all the way around. They are thrilled with the house (they have been looking for a while), the rest of the family is happy to have them close, and we are happy to have it sold-it really does take a load off of our minds.
