The library where I work part-time has a huge summer reading program, but we also have a ton of other free summer fun. There are free family movies every Thursday evening, aswell as teen and adult summer reading programs with prizes - reading's not just for little kids :) We have a city auditorium with various concerts and performances going on every week all summer - many of which are free. There's another movie night outside in the town commons where everyone just brings a blanket and watches a movie under the stars. There are so many great free activities for the summer - no need to spend big bucks to keep everyone entertained. Sounds like you and your kids are going to have a blast this summer!
