What happened to the lunchbox report? My daughter just started kindergarten this year and I enjoyed getting ideas from what you posted. Please go back to it.
Also, I’m a fellow New Yorker from the Buffalo area and I’m glad to read a blog from someone in my state. With our high taxes and stalled economy I need all the tips I can get.
Remember the Lunchbox Report!
Alicia
Dear Alicia,
Busted! I’ve been busy around here, and I wasn’t really sure that anyone was reading it, so I sort of let it fall by the wayside. For those of you who never noticed, there is a space on the left sidebar where I post (or at least am supposed to post) what I am sending in for lunch with the kiddos each day.
Why? Well for two reasons.
Number one, I hope that for folks like Alicia it can help to provide some inspiration for their own lunchbox packing.
Number two, it keeps me accountable. I would just be too embarrassed to send in a PB&J every day for a week-so it forces me to be much more creative in my lunchbox menus.
So yes, I have been sending in the kiddos lunches, I just haven’t been posting it. Mea Culpa. I am now duly chastised and vow to return to the report.

Jenn, thanks for bringing it back! I’ve been missing it too. I didn’t think Princess and Buddy were getting tuna subs every day for two weeks. At least, I hoped not.
On this subject, could you possible revisit the making of their lunches? I love the one about making Princess’ lunch but it is a little out of date, eh? But now that you pack two lunches, I would be interested to see how that goes down every morning.
Thanks!
I’m really happy to see it back too! I’ve missed the report!
