I used to really like Wendy's chili, but have been trying to lead myself clear of the fast food scene since reading more about it ("Fast Food Nation," et al). What a great recipe to try out! If I can get the flavor of the chili with the added insurance of knowing exactly what I have put into it, I'll be a happy camper...
Jerry
www.leads4insurance.com

Great ideas. Top secret: Wendy's uses left over beef to mix with beans to produce thier chili. This beef was kept at appropriate temps and kept frozen to be used the next day. Anyone can do this with left over meat. It helps save money and reduces waste. Good luck and thanks for all of the good info. Annette

I Google my ingredients on hand . Then a pages of web sites with recipes with my ingredients pop up. I have found some new favorites this way. The first time I did this I had one egg and wanted to make banana bread . I found a great recipe on about.com . Then just last Monday , I had linguini, peppers and italian suasage. on hand. I know it sounds like a no-brainer , but I am an italian cook of the dried pasta , add Ragu kind. Anyway, I googled and eneded up at epicurious .com (I would check my spelling) and found another new family favorite.
The best part of googling ingredients on hand is using what I already have to make a nice meal for my family.
