This recipe looks tasty! I can't wait to try it. I also just linked to your post from the MyPunchbowl party planning blog where I wrote about online invitations for an Earth Day celebration.

I'm a little late commenting, but I make this and give it away for Christmas. My parents and in-laws LOVE it! It's a great gift for people that don't really need or want anything.

Jenn- I have been making homemade granola and granola bars since August of 2008. I have a couple of tips- Nuts always toast them before adding(tastes better)also good dried fruit for a variety I buy the Target brand. They are inexpensive and carry a bigger variety than you would think. My fave is adding cranberries , pecans ,and white chocolate chips. I buy nut and chips when on sale or at Aldi's for a good price.Love it on plain yogurt.-Amyrlin

Granola is one of those things that are VERY EXPENSIVE in stores - and why? I don't know when it's easy to make.

Well I know it is tasty the way I normally make it-but I've never tried the molasses before. I'm out and going to make a batch in the next few days so I'll have to try that!

I'm curious about how the molasses substitution tastes. Molasses is supposed to be really good for you (if it's good enough for elephants, it's good enough for me). I'll have to try these recipes out!

This looks yum. I may get round to making a batch tomorrow. I'm bored to tears with porridge but I still have about 3kg of oatmeal in the larder.
