Grill Pork Like a Steak Giveaway!

by Jenn @ Frugal Upstate on August 2, 2013

This summer I’ve been doing a lot of grilling with pork in celebration of the National Pork Board’s “Grill Pork Like a Steak” campaign!

Pork Be Inspired

A few weeks ago I told you all how I’m working with the Pork Board to get the word out about how great pork is for grilling. Pork is tasty, tender and affordable.  To help you compare prices between pork and beef, all of your favorite pork cuts are being renamed:

New Names

When you do the comparison you’ll see just how much money you can save!

Pork Prices

I also shared my special grilled pork kabob recipe: “Grilled Pork Spiedies.”

Now to really celebrate #GrillPorkLikeASteak I’ve got a great giveaway package to offer from the Pork Board:

This giveaway will run from 2 Aug 2013 to 8 Aug 2013, and is open to readers in the US.

I’m giving you a simple entry on this one!  Simply comment and tell me what your favorite way to cook pork on the grill is!

Want an extra entry?  Tweet your favorite way to grill pork using the hashtag #grillporklikeasteak and then come back and tell me in a separate comment.

Good Luck!

We love to grill pork. We marinate it with a little liquid smoke and bbq sauce and grill.

We love pork in just about any form, but our favorite is probably pork burgers. Make wide thin patties of ground pork, season with salt and pepper. Grill just like a hamburger, then top with BBQ sauce and sweet onion on your bun. Yum!

We prefer old school – St. Louis style ribs low & slow, smoked with crab apple wood. :)

I’ve actually never grilled pork, but I think I would like pork chops grilled with Dinosaur BBQ’s Roasted Garlic Honey Sauce.

I like to grill a pork tenderloin after rubbing it with garlic, rosemary, olive oil and salt. It is delicious!

I’ve never really grilled pork on the BBQ. Now you’ve inspired me to try it.
