It’s time for the annual stocking stuffer challenge from Walmart! Stockings are such a fun part of the holidays-but let’s face it, they can be a BEAR to fill. This is the second year that the Walmart Moms have been challenged to fill a Christmas stocking for under $20. I like a challenge, so I chose to do Yankee Bill’s stocking for the second year in a row. I think men can be hard to shop for, plus it’s a family tradition for him to fill the kiddos stockings so it didn’t make sense for me to shop for theirs 😉

Who’s the hardest person in YOUR family to fill a stocking for?

Great suggestions, Jen! I always have trouble finding good stocking stuffers for my husband too. I also like to find fun things as well as practical ideas, and the sports section doesn’t work for my hubby, but I’ll often include an inexpensive book, a magazine or the Farmers’ Almanac. Another favorite is a pair of socks that he can always use.
Thanks for the ideas!
My husband’s stocking is the most difficult one to fill. Thank you for the suggestions!
BTW, while I was at Walmart last week I noticed something that might be of interest to some of your readers. It looks like Red Heart is changing to a different label band for the Super Saver yarn. The Walmart where I was shopping had all of the skeins with the old type of label band rolled back to a significantly discounted price, similar to the price I’ve seen at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet for that yarn. I stocked up because my mother and I knit and crochet for charity projects that prefer the RH SS yarn.
