Do you use Facebook? If you do, the first thing you should do is head on over and “like” the Frugal Upstate Facebook page! Connect with other fun frugal folks, share your frugal endeavors, give input for upcoming posts, ask questions, and see “work in progress” for many of my posts.
But after you do that, the next best thing to do on Facebook is head on over to the Walmart Cars 2 “Mater’s Secret Mission App! (Note: In case you didn’t know, the new Cars 2 features Mater in the role of a super spy!)

So, why should you use the app? Well first off you have the chance to win some cool prizes-movie ticket vouchers for Cars 2 (2 per Facebook user), coupons for V-Tech, exclusive access to two online games, exclusive access to Disney Mater’s Tall Tale Videos and special downloadable coloring books.
Secondly, it’s just fun! You and your kids can log on and send a message to a friend in Mater’s Super Secret code!
It isn’t hard. You simply go to app and click on “Get Started”. You’ll get one of those little Facebook window things where you have to give permission for the app to access Facebook (just click “allow”) then you pick a friend and type in a message:
Hit encode and you get a fun “cars” secret translation:
Buddy thought this translation was hilarious and immediately wanted to do another one! So you hit send and before it sends the message off to your friend’s Facebook wall it gives you a chance to add a message in regular old English above it.
Then you get the fun part-finding out if you won anything 
We missed out on the movie tickets but got some cute printable Cars 2 coloring sheets.
That’s ok though, because there are new movie tickets and new prizes available every hour! So you can try multiple times a day.
So head on over, Like Frugal Upstate first (of course!) then hit the Walmart Mater’s Secret Mission app to try your luck at some fun and fabulous prizes while getting a little giggle out of the kids
