Yankee Bill’s Two Can Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of 85-90% Lean Ground Beef or ground venison
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 Green Pepper Chopped
  • 2 cans Kidney Beans
  • 2 cans Green Beans
  • 2 cans Fiesta Style Corn
  • 2 cans Diced/Stewed Tomatoes we like using Rotel style
  • 1 pkg Taco Spice Mix
  • 1 pkg Dry Ranch or Italian Salad Dressing Mix

Instructions

  1. In a large pot brown ground beef with the onions & green pepper. Do not drain (which is why the lean meat is important)
  2. Open your cans of beans & corn and dump, with all their liquid, into the pot.
  3. Add your taco & dressing mix.
  4. Stir.
  5. Cook till all flavors are melded & liquid slightly reduced (say about half an hour)
  6. Serve.
