Here’s a fun gift for the gardener on your list–or just someone who wishes they had a green thumb!  An AeroGarden 3SL with Gourmet Herb 3 Pod Seed Kit from Walmart!  At just $49.97 it’s a reasonable gift that will keep someone you love in fresh herbs all winter long with no muss and no fuss!

AeroGarden from Walmart

Walmart and the folks at Miracle-Gro wanted you to know how easy it is to use, so they sent me one to try out and tell you about.  The Aerogarden is a soil-free system and because it has it’s own light,  you can grow it anywhere you have just a bit of space (and access to electricity)

Features & Benefits

  • Soil-free, no-mess indoor growing
  • NASA tested, advanced hydroponics grows 5 times faster than soil
  • Pre-seeded pods with Guaranteed to Grow warranty
  • Transparent view window – monitor water levels and see your garden in action!
  • Includes 3-Pod Gourmet Herb Seed Pod Kit with Genovese Basil, Curly Parsley, and Dill

Give an AeroGarden 3SL from Walmart to the gardener on your list

The Aerogarden 3SL was simple to set up.  You just plugged the grow light into the unit, filled the reservoir with filtered water (don’t have a filter–just leave tap water in an open container for 24 hours so the chlorine can evaporate), add the nutrient according to the directions on the bottle, pop the pods into the unit and stick the domes on top.  Turn the light on and you are ready to go.

There are couple of things that make this unit even easier to use–first of all, from the moment you plug the Aerogarden it will stay on for 16 hours and then shut off for 8 giving your plants the perfect amount of light.  If  you want to reset the start time of the light, just unplug it and plug it in again!  There is also a 2 week timer that lets you know when to add more of the nutrient.  Simple!

As the plants grow, you can adjust the light upward to give them more room to grow:

In a couple of weeks I will post again showing you how the seeds grow!  But don’t wait–order your AeroGarden 3SL with Gourmet Herb 3 Pod Seed Kit from Walmart for just $49.97 today.

I have a 6 pod aerogarden & love it! I have fresh veggies all year round ( lettuce grows back once cut!) but that machine takes up quite a bit of my counter space. The slim design of this 3 pod slim system would be great to keep me if fresh parsley, thyme & rosemary all winter long!
