Do you use Facebook?
If you do, I wanted to let you know that Frugal Upstate has it’s own Facebook page! If head on over there and hit “like” you will automatically have all of the Frugal Upstate page updates appear on your wall!
So what types of things will you see if you “like” Frugal Upstate?
1. Blog Posts
All of my blog posts automatically post to the Frugal Upstate page. You’ll see a photo from the post and the first few lines of the post. All you have to do is click and you’ll be right back here to see everything in it’s entirety. Never miss a post again!
2. The Lunchbox Report
I know that some of you still mourn the demise of the official lunchbox report here at Frugal Upstate. Never fear! I post, pretty much daily, a photo of the kids lunchbox and what’s inside, and give you all a chance to share what YOU are sending out the door with your kids, the hubs, or even yourself. It’s a great way to get new ideas and avoid the lunchbox “Blahs”.
3. Photos & updates from the Frugal Upstate home.
With my iPhone it is so super easy to share the little frugal things I do each day with you. A trip to the thrift store turns into a couple of pictures and notes about what & why I am purchasing things. A good sale, an item I see that can be replicated for less, even what I’m making for dinner-all of these things occasionally find their way onto the page to be shared & commented on.
4. Fantastic content from around the web
Each day I like to share links to a few great projects, interesting posts or fun frugality related videos. Lately I’ve been very interested in crafts and gifts to make for the holidays. It’s a great way for me to share what I’m reading and thinking about with you all!
5. Questions, comments and research.
I love having reader input for posts, and the Facebook page is a great way for me to find out what you all are thinking about, and what your frugal experiences are! It’s also a chance for us to have a more immediate conversation-I usually check Facebook several times throughout the day and try to answer back as soon as possible
6. Content from you!
Facebook pages are not a one way street! Other folks besides me have the ability to post on the Frugal Upstate page “wall”. You all get the opportunity to share posts, comments & ideas with the rest of the Frugal Upstate community.*
So what are you waiting for? Head on over to Facebook and “like” the Frugal Upstate Page
*Note: Just like here on the blog, everyone can have their say as long as they are respectful. Additionally, the content on the Frugal Upstate page should stay relevant, in a broad sense, to Frugal Living. Asking us to vote for you or posting random political links will not be allowed. As the page owner/administrator I reserve the right to delete posts that are inflammatory, rude, or completely off topic. Fair enough?
