This weeks festival is over at Clutter2Cash. Of course there are 21 great entries over there this week (mine seems to have gotten lost in cyber space! Oh well, I won’t take it personally. I have a habit of entering on Monday night and I may not have made it in below the wire!) Here are a few that I thought were particularly interesting.
Young and Broke discusses safety v.s. saving money with a personal story to illustrate.
Jim over at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity does a quick explanation and cost comparison of brewing your own specialty beers at home using a kit. Hmm, honey, would you like that for fathers day???
There are some environmentally friendly cleaning and gardening tips over at Inchoate Random Abstractions (wow, that’s a mouthful). I love these sort of “tips” lists, even if I never have to use them. Does that make me weird?
Tynan has some good tips for getting the best cell phone plan ever from Sprint.
Enjoy!

I absolutely love the frugal festivals! Thanks for doing it and liking to whomever does it weekly. It’s awesome!
Kristi-Glad you like it! I think it’s fun to see so many different articles. Plus it’s an easy writing day for me 🙂
Hi–thanks for the links! I love these festivals and look forward to them every week.
Thanks so much, btw, for posting a comment on my blog, “Sorta Frugal.”
I finally got back there after a busy week to explain where I’ve been. (I got a part time job!) I’m gonna try harder to keep up with it–blogs that just sort of stagnate are boring, LOL!
Thanks for the shout out. Yeah, the name of the blog is quite a mouthful. But I was having a hard time coming up with something clever that hadn’t already been taken 😉
I never realized how inexpensive home-brewing is. A few buddies of mine home brew, and I help them emptyout the full bottles. But maybe I should start, too.
