And of course the first thing I thought was “I have to blog this”.
I must be more tired than I thought, because this morning after getting up, getting everyone breakfast (1 PB&J Sandwich, 1 fried egg, 1 fried egg sandwich-hey wait, I didn’t eat anything) making sure the kiddos were dressed, kissing Yankee Bill goodbye (he looks so handsome in a shirt and tie~mmmmm), getting Princess’s lunch together, getting her on the bus etc-well, I finally had time to get a shower.
So I get my stuff together, put toothpaste on my toothbrush (I’m one of those weirdos who brushes their teeth in the shower) and stepped into the shower. . . .
only to have the spray hit my glasses.
Now I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 13 years old, and this is the first time, in my life, I have ever forgotten to take them off before getting into the shower.
How dumb did that make me feel????

Yeah, I always forget to feed myself too. But, if I did remember it’s not like I have the time. Did you get your glasses clean? I do that sometimes too… so while I’m in there I just give them a quick scrub.
You are working too hard so, give yourself a break. You can get into overkill. It is not the end of the world though. There is a first for everything. Good luck. Annette
LOL! Did you perhaps look around and wonder why the shower looks so dirty? I’m always amazed, because it looks so clean whenever I’m in there with no glasses š
Not to say that *your* shower is dirty, mind you, just that mine seems to be…
Once when I went waterskiing (so this was a long time ago), I remembered thinking, “funny I don’t remember having a problem with water spray on my (RX) sunglasses before!” Duh!
Or the time I took a shower with my nurses cap on (ruined it of course as it is one of theose dixie cup tyope things)….And I was younger & less tired then you whrn I did those things!!!
