This week there were 30 entries in the festival over at Arindi~and I didn’t even put anything in 🙂 As always here are my favorite picks:
Over at The Common Room the “Deputy Headmistress” wrote a great article on frugalities in answer to a readers question. She has so much great information on the mindset and attitude behind frugality as well as a peek at the types of things that her family has done over the years. I like how she states “Please understand that there is nothing more spiritual or righteous about doing without these things. I am not even necessarily recommending each of these things, I am just offering them as food for thought to help prime your own pump about what is important to you and what isn’t”. She also links back to many of her previous articles on fruality. Leave yourself a few minutes to read this one!
Might Bargain Hunter has “25 Ways to Keep Your House Cooler, Part I” has some great tips to keep in mind for the summer heat. It is based on an article from MSN.com.
Five Cent Nickle has some interesting info on how he is reducing the electrical usage in his new house. Check it out, he may have some ideas you could use.
The Family CEO provides the links back to the free “Frugality” email courses offered by Pat Veretto over at Frugal Living @ About.com.
SuperMom over at Getting Out of Debt tells you all about fun and free programs for your kids this summer run by places like Toys R Us, AC Moore and AMC Cinemas.
As always, lots of other great stuff to read. These were just the 5 that really jumped out at me.

Thanks! I look forward to the festival weekly and always check it out!
