Festival of Frugality #36

This weeks Festival of Frugality #36 is hosted by Amy over at Motherload. There are 23 entries this week-none from me, I’ve been too busy! Here are a few that really caught my eye, but please, head on over and check them all out for yourself.

I like Amy’s own article in this weeks lineup-she has a pretty darn complete price list for Aldi’s! She also links to previous articles she has written on them, to include menu plans and recipes. This one is a keeper.

Nina over at Queercents has a good article about how we have been conditioned to buy and take more than we need. It all ties back into “Thoughtful Living” which is something I have been thinking about a lot lately.

Bling on a Shoestring (great name!) has a tutorial on how to make marble magnets. I made dh some of these for Christmas 2 years ago-I used the pictures from the year previous’s Harley Davidson Catalog and made both magnets and tacks for him to take to work and spruce up his cubicle. . . .

Lastly, this one over at Tired but Happy is just for the girls. No, really guys, it’s about menstrual products. I’ve considered this myself over the years but haven’t quite made the switch. . . .
