Well, it’s everyone’s favorite time of week again-time for the one and only Festival of Frugality!
This week the festival is held over at My Money Forest and has 20 posts, including my own about having a Gift Box.
Here are my favorites from this week:
Bargain Value has some really good tips for going to an auction. I’ve always thought that it would be fun to go to an auction, but after reading this article, and knowing that I tend to buy things just because they are a “good deal” and not necessarily because I need them (a problem I have been working hard on for the last several years) I think I might just skip the auction experience.
On Get Rich Slowly there is a nice article about what things are worth doing yourself, and what is worth paying for. I agree with pretty much everything!
Although it is old news to me (after all, I’ve been doing this frugal thing for a while now) Stop the Ride has a great series of articles on How to stretch a chicken. Check it out for some inspiration!
There are plenty of other good things to read, so pop on over and check it out!

I love going to auctions. They are very popular here. There is one a few miles from us that auctions a lot of groceries. Great deals!
