In the shower this morning I suddenly realized that I had completely forgotten about the Festival yesterday! Oops!
I apologize to all of you who check in here to find the location and highlights. Of course now it is the Wednesday of my twice monthly MOPs meeting and I’ve got to jet out the door shortly, so I’m giving you the random pick version-the link to the festival (it is over at Money Smart Life) and the review of the one article title that caught my eye the most that I clicked over to and reviewed. This was more difficult than it sounds, as there were 31 in toto this week and he had specifically asked for articles that had to do with kids-so there were plenty of titles that piqued my interest. Please head over yourself and check out all the frugally goodness–that’s what I intend to do this evening when I finally get a chance to have some real computer time.
So, the lucky random eye catching pick is:
The Frugal Duchess’s “Throw Cheap Parties“. From the title I couldn’t tell if this was for adults or kids, it turned out to be of the “kids sleepover” variety. As you all know from my posts on Princess’s birthday party I’m a big advocate of not spending a fortune for kids to have fun. Of course my kiddos are a little younger than the Duchess’, so I really was interested to see what ideas she had. There are some good ones-check it out!

Thanks for the links!
You’re welcome. Better late than never eh?
Attaching either a dry erASE BOARD OR PAPER TO THE FRONT OF THE FREEZER, and attaching a pencil on a string to the front of the freezer plus the discipline to use them when putting something into the freezer or taking out really works, My mother used this method with a chest freezer where it was really easy to lose items. I also like the idea of different shelves (lableled) for different products. Would wire baskets work?
