Ok, it took me a day to get back to it, but here are some of my favorites from yesterdays festival (for those of you who haven’t gone over to Punny Money and surfed around).
Adventures in the 100 Acre Wood talks about shelter, both where she is living now, where she lived in the past and the differences between wants and “high priority needs” like A/C (which is a need these days if you live in Floriday or Alabama etc . . . ). Sounds like she and the hubby have made some smart choices over time. To me this all ties in to the things I was saying a few days ago about really thinking about the long term effects of your choices.
Amy over at MomAdvice talks about making your own “foamy soap”. I do this myself with cheap bubble bath from the dollar store. 32 oz for a dollar, then dillute it with 3/4 water. . . . well it is a whole ton of soap for a dollar!
The Good Human talks about debt, the choices we make to get into it, and the effects it has. Again, lots of thoughts about choices. . . .
I just love it when men cook-and It’s Just Money has his recipe for bachelor’s vegetable soup. Sounds yummy, and is way cheaper than when he used to buy it at the soup/salad/sandwich place near his job 🙂
Have fun reading!

Thanks for linking me!
I thought about you this weekend. Our rapelling site was covered in wild blueberries. I was wishing I had a blueberry rake!
