to mess up your checkbook register and overdraw your account and have to pay 2 $35 overdraw fees (thank God for overdraft protection-or we’d have had to pay a fee to the merchant too)
Don’t feel too bad. I have an old refrigerator in my garage where I store all my meat in the freezer. The last person to use it probably didn’t make sure the door closed all the way…and it was open overnight. So now I have about 8 meals’ worth of meat thawed out. Of course, this couldn’t have happened when it was 20 degrees outside. Happily, my half-price rib eye steaks were so far in the back they stayed frozen. We’re barbecuing hot dogs and burgers for lunch. I’m making chicken broth with the chicken. Guess my dinner choices are made for me now, LOL!

I did that once. You’re right- Overdraft is a Godsend! Don’t beat yourself up to much- it happens!
I hate it when that happens. Glad you had overdraft protection. And with all your frugality, you’ll make up the money in no time.
Thanks guys. It’s just frustrating when you work hard to save in little ways and then just blow $70 by being poorly organized 🙂
