Can you believe that one of the most popular Google searches that bring random folks (Hi Folks!) to my blog is “Land’s End Free Shipping”. The problem is that the post it takes them to is about 1 1/2 years old-so of course the code doesn’t work!
But these folks have the right idea. Whenever you are buying anything online, it doesn’t hurt to open another window and look for “*name of retailer* coupon code”. Sometimes it’s a good idea to check 3 or 4 of the hits, sometimes they don’t all have the exact same offers. I’ve found free shipping and % off this way before.

GRRR. Just missed it! Free shipping for on-line shopping is one of the best things around, and leads me to consider purchases I wouldn’t otherwise. With the price of gas for driving to and from stores, free shipping for web purchases gives you some insurance that you are REALLY getting a good deal!
