Quick Tip-Pepper

July 10, 2006 By Jenn @ Frugal Upstate 2 Comments

Well, my buddy Evelyn called a few days ago and gave me this tip. If you child gets a bead (or bean or whatever) stuck up their nose, try having them sniff pepper to help sneeze it out (or at least move it farther forward).

Ask her how she knows this 🙂 . . . . . .

If I only would have thought of that last week when I was getting a piece of wadded up paper out of my son’s nose! All in a day’s work for a Mama!

Yes I wish I would have thought of this a year ago when my then three year old stuck a pink necklace bead in her nose. We ended up at the ER.

btw they told me you should never try to remove things from a kids nose with tweezers (or other tools) b/c you can push it in further and cause a real emergency. They had a nifty tool that took it out it a snap!
