Spell Check Still Out

February 4, 2008 By Jenn @ Frugal Upstate 6 Comments

Is anyone else having an issue with the spell check feature in Blogger? It doesn’t seem to be working. . . .still. . . and I’m a bad speller. . .

You should use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. One of the add on features is automatic spell check in fields which you can type in. If you misspell a word it will underline it in red. If you right click on the word, it will give you spelling options. This is handy because that means comboxes are also spell checked in addition to other things that normally aren’t.

I didn’t even know there was a spell-check feature (because I’m a spelling geek) until you mentioned it the other day… then I tried clicking on it and it did nothing.

    So yes, I noticed. 😛

I agree with Helene. Try Firefox instead. I have been battling with Blogger so much that I am making Ryan move our blog somewhere else. I hate fighting with it about publishing and getting my images to download. Grrr…it has become really irritating.

    Good luck!

I’ve been having problems with it as well. I thought it was just me!

I have firefox on my laptop. YB isn’t thrilled with the idea of loading it on the desktop, so I’m just making do until my laptop comes back (tomorrow or the next day. Yes!).

Amy-I’ve been thinking about moving, but worried about losing my links etc.
