Well, we got back from the races at about 930 pm on Sunday, then I worked Monday and Tuesday at the shop. Throw in a 2 hour meeting on Monday afternoon and I’ve basically been pretty tied up and tired (uh, that is figuratively, not literally!)
The races were fun. It is amazing to be in the same place as 160,000 other people for a day! Talk about a true “sea of humanity”. And you do see all kinds of folks.
For the most part we just hung out and talked and BBQ’d with our friends at the campground. It was nice for just a few days to not have anything to do or anywhere to go (except for the race at 730pm)-and more unusual noone who needed to be taken care of (well, a 44 year old DH really doesn’t need to be taken care of. . . .) It was very relaxing and nice.
So I’m back and prepping up for Princess to start school next week. Today we are doing a bunch of shopping and then on Thurs through about Sat we’ll be at the campground most likely for a last hurrah. Sunday I work and then Monday are the Labor Day Festivities. I’ll try to post a couple of things but am not promising anything 🙂 After school starts and we sort of get into a “swing” I’ll get a more regular schedule back. Look forward to it!
As for the Festival, this week it was over at Blogging Away Debt. I’ll get on later this afternoon and do my actual roundup, but I know some of you have been waiting.
Also, if you have a lot of time and want some interesting reading, since today is Wednesday you can check out all the “Works for Me Wednesdays” tips over at Rocks in My Dryer. As of 8:59 am there are already 60 tips entered. By the end of the day there will probably be over 80 🙂

Right now, at 4 p.m.–there are over 100!
Sounds like you had a nice, fun and relaxing weekend!
Thank you for linking to the festival! 🙂
