Yarn Bargain!

April 27, 2006 By Jenn @ Frugal Upstate 3 Comments

Well, all the Dollar Tree stores near us are carrying some lots of Bernat & Patons novelty yarn. I don’t know if this is nation wide or just in the Binghamton/Norwich area. They have had it at 3 different Dollar Tree branches here.

So far near us I have seen Frenzy, Pebbles,Evita and Voodo, all for $1 a skien (of course)

So if you need some novelty yarn for your stash, check it out!

I will check out our dollar tree. One of our Mom’s groups is going to attempt to teach us knitting! I loved that hat you made for me.

Great! Knitting can be so much fun. And when you are doing small repetitive items like hats, scarfs, etc you can even do it sort of mindlessly while waiting in a dr’s office, watching tv (like I did making your darling’s hat) or even being a passenger in a car. I love multitasking.

Checked out Dollar Tree. You can get some great novelty yarn there. If you haven’t knitted for awhile, it’s a great way to get back into it without a big cash commitment! Get those needles out, ladies!!!!!
