Make Your Own Dinosaurs~

May 16, 2007 By Jenn @ Frugal Upstate 5 Comments

Princess is into art. REALLY into art. As a matter of fact her goal in life right now is to be “the best artist ever”. Our house is covered with little snips of paper, sticker residue, widowed crayons and the other detritus of a kindergarten artist.

So when I saw this site where you you can print, cut, color and fold your own dinosaurs (for free) I thought “Ah-ha!”. They may not be princess-y, but I think she’ll like them. They are just so cute. Buddy, who loves dinosaurs, will like playing with them when they are finished.

The directions say you can print them out on regular computer paper, but that if you photocopy them onto card stock or trace them onto thin cardboard (they even mention using a cereal box-ahh, it does a frugalite’s heart good) then they will stand up better.

These probably would be fun for younger homeschoolers studying dinosaurs as well.

Hey, if she colors them pink and purple, they sure could be princess dinosaurs! And wouldn’t the daughter of a T-“REX” be a princess, LOL?

You can’t have baby dinosaurs without mommy dinasaurs and who knows what social structure they had? Maybe a king, queen, prince & princess!
My friend’s grandson is HEAVILY into dinasaurs and I will share the website with her (AJ’s mother).
